National Referendums Now

Even though a politician,
May pay his own campaign expenses,
Or be reimbursed by a government plan for them,
That doesn’t mean he’s not saving for,
A lush retirement in Mexico,
Or a spacious ranch in Abilene,
Or a condo in Hawaii by the sea,
And therefore he has a very special interest,
In saving for his retirement expenses.
